I have been working three weeks now after my summer vacation. The vacation was succesfull, a lot of relaxing activities. On midsummer I was spending my holidays at the cottage in Saarijarvi, Finland. Right after the midsummer I took a car and drove to Trondheim, Norway. What a lovely views and atmosphere!

I also had some time to learn new cloud technologies. I created some fancy proof-of-concept services by using Microsoft Azure. Microsoft is creating very nice cloud services but the complexness of their management portals (yes, multiple of them) keeps surprising every time :)

In addition I spent couple of hours to study Docker containers. My small Python and NodeJS projects were developed and deployed like in the movies :) Very very promising technology!

But now it is time to focus on work related projects. The autumn is full of deliveries and deployments.

I have been working a few weeks now after my summer vacation. Our company has moved it’s office to a new location in Oulu. Additionally, a new kind of “flexi office” is accomplished. It means that there is no private rooms for anyone. It may take some time to get used to it :)

I also spend last weekend in Lulea, Sweden. The weekend trip was almost perfect although there was a tiny accident with my car in Kalix :)

I am here in Nürnberg bacause of business. City is very nice like others in Germany, nothing bad to say.

I am going to spend next weekend in Berlin.

I was visiting London last weekend. Weather was absolutely great, no rain at all. Cider was sweet and cold :) Now I have some kind of overall picture about this city. I can recommend!

Our trip to Paris was successful. Weather there was unusual for January, 10-15 degrees Celsius. We visited commonly known glories of the city like Eiffel tower, Notre-Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees and Louvre.

Year 2006 was full of work and travel. Now I am going to focus on my studies. But we have planned one more trip to Paris before end of the January.

I managed to get back to home from Switzerland on monday. Please see travel pictures in my photo gallery. Weather was really nice during the whole trip. And you cannot blame views either :)

We had also a nice “business” trip to Helsinki last week. But now I think I have travelled enough for this year…well you never know…

Next week I have to start my studies at university. Let’s hope I have gathered a lot of motivation to continue my studies.
