After 3,5 years of light use of my MacBook Air I decided to sell it. Now when the laptop is gone I have some time to think about The Future of Computing.

I have read several articles and blog posts and watched dozens of YouTube videos where authors says that the future of computing is so called tablet like devices. I have had multiple iPad tables in previous years and the form factor of those is well known by me. After Apple launched their new iPadOS the game is now changing a lot.

I have encouraged enough by those authors, so Goodbye MacBook Air and welcome iPad with iPadOS. Only one thing is still open…which model should I purchase….

I have been working three weeks now after my summer vacation. The vacation was succesfull, a lot of relaxing activities. On midsummer I was spending my holidays at the cottage in Saarijarvi, Finland. Right after the midsummer I took a car and drove to Trondheim, Norway. What a lovely views and atmosphere!

I also had some time to learn new cloud technologies. I created some fancy proof-of-concept services by using Microsoft Azure. Microsoft is creating very nice cloud services but the complexness of their management portals (yes, multiple of them) keeps surprising every time :)

In addition I spent couple of hours to study Docker containers. My small Python and NodeJS projects were developed and deployed like in the movies :) Very very promising technology!

But now it is time to focus on work related projects. The autumn is full of deliveries and deployments.

I finally got some time to update my blog. A lot of things have changed after previous post. Theme of this blog was also changed due to more mobile friendly user experience.
